Winter is here and it is truly a cold one…

We have a lot of jackets, coats and blankets coming in and so we want to make sure we get them all out on time so that we can keep you warm.

Of late however, we have faced some challenges especially with the different brands of jackets and coats on the market. There has been a large increase in clothing coming from Asian manufacturers and also the large well known brands are now manufacturing their clothing in countries such as China, India and Thailand. This has become a problem as when the worst happens (the worst rarely happens but when it does), we try contact the manufacturers to see how best to resolve issues or to assess whether we would have made errors in our cleaning processes. These issues can include shrinkages, colour running and other damages.

Unfortunately of late, we have discovered that almost all garment and clothing manufacturers (including the big brands) no longer guarantee colour fastness and care label instructions are now somewhat referred to as guidelines than proper instruction. Coupled with the increase in clothing imports from Asian manufacturers who we do not have links with, as DombaServ Dry Cleaners (as well as our other brands Tip Top, Flash and Flamingo Dry Cleaners), we shall not accept any responsibility for shrinkage, running of non-fast dyes, damage to or loss of buttons, plastic sequins, zips or bead ornaments.

Whilst every care in the treatment of articles is insured when you bring in your jacket or coat, please note that this is at YOUR OWN RISK!

PLEASE LOOK AT THE T&Cs ON YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE OUR DEPOTS OR DROP OFF AND PICK UP POINTS.

You shall also see notices to this effect in all of our depots and our depot supervisors or delivery personnel will also tell you of this.
